Seiun Saku saws are the mainstay of the Japanese woodworker with their double sided blades for all types of work in cabinetmaking and carpentry. They have especially fine tooth pattern on one side which leaves an extremely fine surface finish and rip teeth on the other with the cutting edge hardened to HV900-1200. It cuts with the traditional Japanese pull stroke. Each tooth is impulsed hardened to insure consistent and long lasting edge. A unique feature of the Seiun Saku saws is handle can be tilted in relation to the blade which allows access into areas otherwise awkward or impossible to reach. It features a comfortable traditional rattan wrapped paulownia handle.
